Life with Objects

“Conceptualized amidst the crisis of the pandemic in 2020 ‘Life with/in Objects’ is a repository of selected images of objects presented as an unconventional ‘exhibition’ that allows us to stay open while staying at home – open to our communities to new ideas and experiences despite our physical limitations.

We create, curate and collect objects from and within different spheres of our life in the pursuit of meaning-making – a process through which we establish our relationship with our immediate and broader physical and intellectual environment.

With the aim of discovering common histories and excavating shared meanings through objects that index both – our inner and outer lives, ‘Life with/in objects’ provokes a new inquiry into our forced domesticity – a space shaped by the secret life of objects.“
